- What is Vintage Woods?
New wood made to look like reclaimed wood.
- How long will color last if applied to exterior?
The color is
embedded into the wood. The wood is sealed with a low- or no-VOC product
on all sides to protect against the outside elements. Used as an exterior
product, sealer should be applied approximately every 4-5 years. When
it is recoated, it must be done with Vintage Woods’ special sealant.
- Where do you get the sealer coat?
Order the product directly from Vintage
Woods. We highly recommend this be the only product used.
- What sizes does it come in?
1x6, 1x8 and 1x10 in stock. But, wood can
be ordered in any dimension.
- What are shipping costs?
This is calculated on a “per customer, per
destination” basis and is billed at an additional cost.
- What type of wood do we use?
Doug Fir, Cedar, Spruce and Beetle-Kill
Pine most typically.
- Can Vintage Wood supply timbers?
Yes.
