One of the key attributes of Vintage Woods’ products is its versatility. Unlike other sources of reclaimed wood, Vintage Woods products can be custom created to fit a variety of sizes and situations. We produce Vintage Woods on the following wood types: Colorado Beetle-Kill pine, Ponderosa Beetle-Kill pine, cedar, doug fir, and white fir.
Beetle-Kill Wood
Vintage Woods buys beetle-kill wood from small, local sawmills and transforms it into beautiful wood products. The unique characteristics of beetle-kill wood shine through with the Vintage Wood treatment. The green building movement that's gained momentum in the past few years has increased the demand for our product, especially as applied to beetle-kill wood. Using beetle-kill on your project is a cost effective way to turn this environmental negative into a positive.
The Vintage Woods advantage
Vintage Woods fits any budget by using
the aging process on various types of wood. Vintage Woods has a substantial
installation savings over reclaimed wood. It is easier to install because
the boards are straight-edged and are all the same widths and thickness.
There is no time wasted ripping boards or trimming to the correct dimensions.
It comes ready to install. We are able to meet all customer's needs by making
Vintage Woods available in any width up to 12" and any length up
to 20'.
It is also available in ship lap, T&G siding and more. The wood is sealed
with a low- or no-VOC product on all sides. Most exterior siding is sealed
only on the front and on the sides. When it is not protected on the back
side, moisture can seep in and cause the boards to ‘cup’ away from the house.

Eco-friendly aspects
Vintage Woods has a full recycling program in place for all materials used to produce Vintage Woods. In addition, Vintage Woods is sealed with a low- or no-VOC product on all sides. The green building movement that’s gained momentum in the past few years has increased the demand for this product, especially for reclaimed beetle-kill wood. Vintage Woods is working with small, local sawmills to buy beetle-kill wood and donating a percentage of our profits to the Plant a Tree program.
